2. Services Offered
Preinspection LLC provides pre-purchase vehicle inspection services. Our professional inspectors evaluate vehicles and deliver detailed reports documenting the condition of the vehicle at the time of inspection.
3. User Obligations
When using our services, you agree to:
- Provide accurate booking information
- Ensure vehicle access at the scheduled appointment time
- Pay all applicable fees
- Treat our inspectors professionally and respectfully
4. Text Communications
By providing your phone number, you consent to receive SMS messages regarding:
- Appointment confirmations and reminders
- Scheduling updates and changes
- Report delivery notifications
Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by texting STOP.
5. Payment and Refunds
Payment Authorization: Credit card information is collected at booking. Your card is authorized at the time of booking and charged upon completion of the inspection.
Cancellation Policy: Full refunds are available for cancellations made at least one hour before your scheduled appointment time. Cancellations made less than one hour before the appointment may be subject to a cancellation fee.
6. Zone Pricing
Our service areas have tiered pricing based on distance from our primary service locations. The booking system displays the total cost, including any applicable zone fees, before payment authorization. By completing your booking, you agree to the total price shown.
7. Report Limitations
Our inspections assess only visible and accessible components of the vehicle. Inspections:
- Do not include disassembly of any vehicle components
- Are limited to conditions observable at the time of inspection
- Do not constitute a warranty or guarantee of vehicle condition
- Cannot predict future mechanical failures
The inspection report represents the inspector's professional opinion based on their observations at the time of the inspection.
8. Limitation of Liability
Preinspection LLC's liability is limited to the cost of the inspection service. We are not liable for:
- Vehicle purchase decisions made based on our reports
- Conditions not visible or accessible during the inspection
- Mechanical failures occurring after the inspection
- Consequential or incidental damages of any kind
9. Privacy
Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
10. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
